Annotation:

The article is devoted to solving the problems, related to the determination of the required number of standby mobile drilling units (MDU) for the current and overhaul of oil and gas wells, as well as to determine the required amount of spare parts to maintain their operational state at the required level of reliability and safety. In order to improve the organization of supply, planning of the need for complexes and spare parts, a Methodology for calculating the required number of reserve MDU and its equipment based on the logical-probabilistic method was developed. The presented calculations are based on the statistical data which have been collected for a twenty-year period of the complexes actual operation in the fields of the Western Siberia. Considering the high cost of the complexes and spare parts, the application of this method will allow increasing the accuracy of determining the MDU and spare parts required number, thus ensuring the uninterrupted supply of the necessary spare parts to the complexes in the required amount and increasing the efficiency of using the company's financial funds by reducing the number of unclaimed spare parts.
