The journal publishes materials on national and foreign achievements in the development, creation, installation, adjustment, operation and maintenance of measuring instruments, automation, telemechanization and communication, as well as their metrological support. The issues of creation and operation of automated control systems for technological processes, modern communication systems, information-measuring systems, computer-aided design systems are covered. The issues of computerization of vocational training, automation of workplaces on the basis of personal computers, as well as the problems of mathematical modeling and software, creation and maintenance of banks and databases are discussed.
The journal provides information support for scientific and technical events, publishes information on international and national exhibitions, conferences, seminars, meetings in the field of automation, telemechanization and communications.
The published materials will be of great practical assistance to the heads of enterprises and organizations, engineering and technical and scientific workers, production innovators in the implementation and use of automation tools and systems in the oil industry.
