Annotation:

The paper briefly overviews the technical means used in leak detection systems (LDS) in pipelines. The choice of the technical means of LDS for a separate pipeline system is a non-trivial engineering problem. The paper presents the main technical characteristics of the ACE3600, X20, SATELLITE-R controllers. The purpose and functions of the pipelines’ linear telemechanics systems based on the SIRIUS-LDS software and hardware complex are described. A variant of the combined LDS use and the system of linear telemechanics of pipelines is considered.
