Annotation:

The article presents a structured concept of digital technologies application based on fiber-optic lines in oil and gas fields and infrastructure facilities. A forecast of oil and gas technologies development has been formed as well as the prospect for converting an oil and gas well into a high-tech facility operating on the basis of predictive control, taking into account the information received from underground and on-ground infrastructure facilities. The information presented in the article shows that at present there is a real opportunity to provide the transition to digital technologies for creating a high-performance well management system in oil and gas fields. The widespread introduction of sensor technologies in oil and gas production makes it possible to form the grounds of digital and technological leadership in the oil and gas industry, create a fund of high-yield "smart" production wells and ensure an annual increase of hydrocarbon reserves.
