Annotation:

The article solves the risk assessment problem under the condition of circuits’ failure in the emergency protection system. This system ensures the operation safety of a hazardous production facility. The algorithm and the software module structure are also given, which allow calculating the specified risk assessment. Herewith it is considered that probability of the circuit failure of the emergency protection system is given by an interval estimation – confidence interval. Calculation example is included in the article.
