Annotation:

The process of oil production in the offshore zones of the world ocean is associated with the risk of environmental pollution, the exclusion of such a possibility requires regular environmental monitoring. In this regard, the creation of new and improvement of existing monitoring systems is an urgent task. The article analyzes the possibility of using the UML language during the aggregation of the environmental monitoring system using the unified modeling language UML and the IBM Rational Rose CASE-tool. The unified modeling language UML is an effective means of communication between the customer and the developer, as well as between members of the development team [1]. The UML language and any other CASE-tool, for example, IBM Rational Rose, are used to build a model of the designed system. The model is a set of diagrams describing various aspects of the system. The ultimate goal of modeling is to generate code in C++ or Java languages.
