Method for calculating the steady-state availability in case of the initial data incompleteness

Annotation:

The article presents a method for calculating one of the main reliability indicators – the steady-state availability of a complex technical system. The method allows calculating the maximum and minimum values of the steady-state availability, provided that the intensities of the system transitions in their states have interval estimates. These intensities are caused by the process of failures and restorations of the system elements. An algorithm and an example of determining the required values of the steady-state availability are given.
