Annotation:

The control unit (CU) of compact prover (CP) is required to directly control the operation of the piston and interact with the information processing system (IPC) of measuring the oil content and oil quality indicators. The authors of the article define the automation capacity of such a block. The control unit (CU) should contain a modern microcontroller and provide processing of signals of the motor encoder, pressure and temperature sensors of the compact prover, temperature sensor and optical detectors of the bar of the compact prover drive frame and flowmeter. The control unit should provide control of the compact prover drive and solenoid valves as well as output information signals to the information processing system and built-in liquid-crystal display (LCD). To input industrial standard electrical signals into the microcontroller, signal transformation units are required. The authors of the article provide calculations and diagrams of such blocks located on the same printed board with the control unit. It is revealed, that the control unit printed board should be located in water-, dust- and explosion-proof case.
