Annotation:
As a rule, when solving a flow distribution problem, it is implied to calculate the nominal operating modes of a pipeline system in which the flow rates are non-zero. There are, however, specific problems of static calculations when the normal functioning of a pipeline system or part of it is stopped. For example, for oil supply systems, problems of this kind are associated with the calculation of the initially stopped technological section of the main oil or oil product pipeline with the subsequent calculation of its commissioning. Such problems are also common for other types of pipeline systems (process pipelines, heating network pipelines, etc.). The authors of the article discuss an approach to calculating a static pipeline system, based only on a topological analysis of the graph of the pipeline system, which later makes it possible to perform a hydraulic calculation of the zero-flow part of the system without the iterative procedures inherent in the known methods for solving the flow distribution problem. The authors of the article also examine the initial stage of zero flow calculation – identifying the static part of the pipeline system.
