Annotation:

Development and implementation of advanced process control systems (APCS) is a pressing issue of automation and informatization of fuel and energy facilities. APCS are most widely used in oil production and petrochemical enterprises. The authors of the article reveal the main reasons for this fact, including high added value of processed products, non-stationary characteristics and multi-connectedness of control objects as well as presence of a large number of restrictions. It is noted that a number of tasks for managing oil and gas production facilities require periodic adjustments to the process mode parameters. The main areas of the process control system application in oil and gas production are disclosed. A topological model of advanced process control systems (APCS) of a typical oil and gas production facility is described. The problem of forming an ontological knowledge base for developing advanced process control systems (APCS) is formulated using the example of the technological process of oil preparation. Despite the relatively small number of controlled and control variables, the use of the advanced process control systems (APCS) at oil production facilities allows for a significant increase of the technical and economic efficiency of production, so the use of advanced control in various formulations of the optimization problem for such facilities is also relevant.
