Annotation:

The design and operation features of intermediate sliding bearings of electric centrifugal pumps (ESP) are considered. A method is proposed and the results of experimental studies are presented to determine the zones of ESP bearingsstable operation, depending on the viscosity of the pumped liquid and the rotational frequency of the pump drive shaft. The factors influencing the stable operation of sliding bearings are identified. The results of experimental studies show the need to improve the methods for calculating the stability of ESP sliding bearings when operating in high-viscosity fluids.
