MODELING OF THE PROCESS OF PERMEABLE ROCKS COLMATATION BY A BIOPOLYMER COLMATATING MIXTURE

Annotation:

Deepening of wells in permeable formations quite often causes associated complications, such as lost circulation and differential sticking. Long-term studies of domestic and foreign scientists made it possible to establish the main causes of their occurrence, to develop various methods of prevention and elimination. However, to date, the problem has not been completely solved. The paper presents the results of studies of colmatation process of low- and medium-permeable rocks by the developed biopolymer colmatation mixture. In the course of the carried out experiments, statistical relationships were revealed between permeability, pressure drop and colmatation time, on the basis of which the process of clogging of low and medium permeable rocks was modeled. The developed models make it possible to evaluate and predict the colmatation time depending on the pressure drop and permeability. It is revealed that the obtained models correspond to the actual process and have an increased aggregate coefficient of multiple correlation, and the obtained coefficients are statistically significant according to the Student's t-test.
