Annotation:

The paper presents modern methods applied for assembling vertical steel tanks on the example of a 100000 m3 vertical steel tank. The sequence of technological operations of the sheet-by-sheet assembly of the central part of the bottom and edges, the technology of welding work are analyzed in detail. The method of installation of a sheet-by-sheet assembly of a vertical steel tank with a detailed description of the installation, fastening and welding of structural sheets is given. The paper considers the application of non-destructive testing methods during the installation of vertical steel tanks, taking into account modern requirements for hazardous production facilities.
