Annotation:
The paper discusses technological innovations applied in the field of oil and gas wellsdrilling - the leading sector of the oil and gas industry in Azerbaijan. The paper emphasizes that oil and gas wellsdrilling is the main field of innovative and high-techtechnologies application of the national oil and gas industry.The main indicators when assessing the results of innovative technologies implementation are their efficiency and safety. The paper lists the main technological developments designed to solve various urgent problems in the field of oil and gas wellsdrilling. Examples of these technologies application by local and foreign companies in their production activities are given.
