Annotation:

It is known that one of the key problems when placing the jack-up drilling rig at the design point is the placing of the drilling rig supports to the required depth in the pre-loading mode. In those cases when there is a likelihood of falling down or rapid penetration of supports into the formation, the key problem is the correct regulation of the support loading regime and control over the process of their placement. The paper analyzes the existing incidents associated with the failure of the supports into the formation and the ways of the mode optimization of the supports loading are studied. For the first time, one of the approaches to reducing the risks of supports falling down is presented, which consists in optimizing the preloading mode.
