Annotation:
The article is devoted to the results of a study of the main design parameters and conditions for the effective use of a disconnecting adapter, which makes it possible, without using the emergency tool, to release the drill string from a stuck core barrel while drilling with a removable core receiver. Dependences of the breakaway torques on their tightening torques are given both for threaded connections of the drill string and the adapter, as well as technological methods that ensure the disconnection of the core barrel from the drill string in case of emergency operations and the preservation of its connection with it after the next trip of its forced lifting.
