Annotation:

The article discusses scientific ideas regarding the concept and factors of stability (stability) of wellbore, physical-chemical aspects of clay rocks strength under the influence of drilling fluid, features of methods for optimizing drilling fluids composition. In order to substantiate the choice of the optimal fluid composition for drilling in the intervals of weakened rocks, application of the hierarchy analysis method as a mathematical tool for solving the multi-criteria optimization problem is proposed. The proposed methodology is an outstanding, fairly simple and objective tool for solving the multi-criteria problem of choosing the optimal composition of the drilling process fluid. It allows substantiation of his choice, taking into account the assessment of not only the traditional basic and specific properties of the drilling fluid under specific geological and technical drilling conditions, but also additional parameters (manufacturability, efficiency, and others) depending on the conditions of use.
