Annotation:
The main part of the oil industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan specializes in the onshore hydrocarbonsdevelopment. However, unique and large deposits are located on the territory close to the coast, and on the territory of the Caspian Sea itself. The development of fields, sites and blocks located in the Kazakhstan sector of the Caspian Sea is reaching high levels of hydrocarbon production. For this reason, the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan is showing interest in attracting investments for prospecting and exploration work. An example of such work is the development of a technical project for the construction and abandonment of the V-1 exploration well at the Zhenis site.
