Annotation:

When developing gas fields in the shallow waters of the Ob and Taz bays in the presence of permafrost soils, it is necessary to develop new and modernize the existing technologies for the construction of offshore stationary structures and wells for various purposes. The slightest technogenic impacts on complex geocryological conditions lead to the emergence of dangerous cryogenic processes, which may result in the deformation of offshore engineering structures. To avoid this situation, technical and technological solutions have now been developed and tested, the use of which in combination makes it possible to preserve permafrost soils. The article discusses the geocryological properties of rocks in the areastudy, the technology of thermal stabilization of gas producing wells as well as presents thermal engineering calculations for the thawing halo of permafrost around the production well of the Semakovskoye gas condensate field. Isolation of permafrost rocks in the water area was carried out based on the results of engineering and geological studies and data from electrical prospecting rocks. It is shown that the successful operation of gas wells requires developing special engineering measures that prevent the degradation of permafrost.
