Annotation:

The article analyzes the reasons for the increase in the curvature plane during the operation of milling-type deflectors. The forces acting on the drill bit cutting structure during milling of a borehole wall under the deflecting force action are shown. A bit patented design is proposed, the location of the side cutting structures of which reduces the effect of forces that displace the curvature build-up plane, and a method for calculating the inclination angle of the bit milling cutting structures is described.
