Annotation:

The article provides the statistical data of obtained during studies on the publishing activity of threaded connections of use in the oil and gas industry. Quantitative information is presented on Russian and foreign articles, patents, monographs and other sources, devoted to the problem of improving threaded connections, increasing their reliability. The emphasis is placed on thread loosening during operation. Dissertations in this direction are being analyzed. The research works are mainly devoted to analytical researches, improvement of thread designs and raise of threaded connections assembly quality. An increasing number of publications on this issue have been established over the past 20 years both in Russia and abroad.
