A method for determining the hydrostatic pressure of an inhomogeneous fluid in a well

Annotation:

Calculation of inhomogeneous fluids hydrostatic pressure using a formula that is valid for a homogeneous fluid can lead to a significant error in oilfield mechanics. By applying the Boltzmann distribution to highly inhomogeneous fluids, a new formula is proposed for determining the hydrostatic pressure directly in the conditions of an existing well.
