Annotation:
The article presents an in-depth interpretation of Archimedes law in relation to the hydraulics of a vertical and inclined well, the drill string buoyancy is considered, including those consisting of pipes of different diameters in solutions of different inside and outside densities. The classical definition of Archimedes law has been refined. The coefficient of relief is theoretically substantiated. The required condition for the Archimedes law operation in a well is given. The necessity of taking into account buoyancy in engineering calculations in drilling is shown to prevent complications.
