Annotation:

The article is devoted to the problems that arise when polymeric reagents of various origins are used in the component composition of drilling fluids, including exopolysaccharides offered as additives that positively affect the rheology and filtration characteristics of bentonite-based drilling fluids. A brief review of the causes of polymer reagents destructive changes leading to their irreversible destabilization is given, partial results of a set of experimental studies on the assessment of the stability of aqueous solutions of organic and synthesized polymers, as well as clay suspensions containing polymer reagents of natural and synthesized origin, are presented under three-factor exposure (the time period of application, photo destruction, thermal destruction), using a comprehensive assessment of the hydrogen index, rheological and filtration properties. During the preparatory stage of the study, a destabilizing effect of sodium chloride, at a certain concentration, on polysaccharides obtained by the xanthan producer, bacteria of the genus Xanthomonascampestris (pseudomonaceaefamily, Proteobacteriatype, Alpha-proteobacteriaclass) was found. It is manifested by a sharp decrease of ph value in 1 % and 5 % aqueous solutions treated by this electrolyte.
