Annotation:

Construction of wells in the geological conditions of the Timan-Pechora oil- and gas-bearing province (TPOGP), characterized by an increased content of hydrogen sulfide in highly permeable reservoirs (Kolvinskymegas well, Kosyu-Rogovskaya and Denisovskaya depressions), is accompanied by the occurrence of such complications as hydrogen sulfide aggression, losses, differential sticking, etc. Therefore, research and development of process fluids formulations, that are meant for improving the efficiency of drilling and cementing highly permeable deposits containing hydrogen sulfide is an urgent task when constructing wells in the oil and gas fields of TPOGP. The article presents the main results of laboratory and field studies, which allowed developing a complex of highly alkaline and transformable drilling fluid formulations that provide high-quality opening and reliable fastening of highly permeable rocks containing hydrogen sulfide. The use of these formulations increases the efficiency of well construction in the TPOGP fields.
