Annotation:

Reduction of wells construction costwhile maintaining drilling operationsquality is the main task of design. Small-diameter wells drilling (SDWD) has proven itself on the positive side in many issues. Currently, more than half of the wells in the Perm region are finished by a 114 mm production casing string. Drilling experience has shown that it is cost-effective to drill not only the upper horizons, but also the deeper ones, including exploratory wells. The article presents the actual design of the small-diameter wells (SDW), the length of the wells and commercial drilling speeds. One of the well construction problems is behind-the-casing flows that appear during the development process. Taking into account the fact that the annular gaps of the SDWare reduced, the risk of behind-the-casing cross-flows due to the cement stone destruction during perforation and other works carried out during wells development increases. A set of technological measures is presented to improve the quality of SDWcementing. In conclusion, the prospects for increasing the volume of SDWdrilling at the fields of the Perm Territory are given.
