Annotation:

More than 183 fields have been identified in the Timan-Pechora oil- and gas-bearing province, 40 % of which contain hydrogen sulfide in highly permeable formations. Wells construction in such conditions is accompanied by the occurrence of complications and accidents, such as hydrogen sulfide aggression, absorption and differential sticking. Therefore, improvement of wells construction quality requires development of a set of process fluids that provide isolation of highly permeable formations containing H2S and the tightness of their isolation. Research carried out at the Drilling Department of the "Ukhta State Technical University" (USTU), made it possible to develop a complex of process fluids with increased bridging properties and resistance to aggressive environments and to recommend it for the construction of wells in conditions of hydrogen sulfide aggression and increased risks of absorption and differential sticking.
