Annotation:

Reverse cementing poses numerous challenges. To increase reliability when carrying out controlled cementing of casing strings using the reverse method, a special magnetic device has been developed. A device for cementing casing strings includes a hollow cylindrical housing with upper and lower thrust rings fixed on its outer surface and permanent magnets made in the form of cylinders. Permanent magnets are installed evenly and in pairs between the upper and lower thrust rings with the possibility of rotation around their axis and with a gap relative to the housing. The housing is made with holes between pairs of magnets, and the width of the gap between the magnets and the housing is not less than half the distance between the magnets, and the ends of adjacent magnets have opposite poles. The device is lowered into the well on a casing string and placed between the last string and the finished filter. The device itself is installed above the productive horizon. Before cementing, a well in the productive horizon interval is filled with a temporary plugging suspension (for example, chalk). Before cementing, a buffer fluid with ferromagnetic powder is pumped into the well annulus. The gaps between the magnetic cylinders will be covered with ferromagnetic material, which will serve as a signal for the end of cementation.
