Annotation:

Nowadays, when constructing wells, all companies, first of all, pay attention to the economic feasibility and efficiency of exploration drilling. The economic factor may depend on a number of parameters, such as the complexity of the field composition, the type of the technology applied, the type of the tool used, and others. To increase productivity and economic efficiency when constructing wells, the old technologies are improved and the new ones are developed. Currently, the most important aspect of drilling technologies development is technical demand and economic indicators. These criteria have led to the fact that the most popular and widely used technology today is the technology of drilling wells with a retrievable core receiver (RCC). The use of RCC made it possible to increase productivity by reducing time spent on auxiliary and hoisting operations and improve the quality of core material. However, in the drilling cycle of the RCC system there is still a significant share of non-productive time, the elimination of which can provide an increase in productivity under certain conditions of the technology application. This could be a system with core extraction using a reverse flow of drilling fluid when drilling horizontal and gently inclined wells in monolithic rocks. Therefore, the question of the technical feasibility of this technology in current realities remains relevant.
