Annotation:
The article considers in detail the issue of studying the state of a well bottom zone during operation and presents information on of reservoir models using downhole pulsed neutron generators. The values of the average lifetime of thermal neutrons for the characteristics of formations and liquids are determined. The authors of the article carried out an analysis of well section studies, which makes it possible to study the state of the reservoir zone in the perforation intervals and near-wellbore space. The process of cavern formation and its influence on well operation is investigated. The reasons for water cut or gas breakthroughs in wells are considered as well. Changes of formations neutron parameters are analyzed on diagrams using radioactive research methods. An assessment of the state of the formation bottomhole zone is given to select a new perforation interval.
