Annotation:
In recent years, various technical means and technologies have been used to increase efficiency, reduce the time and cost of wells construction and achieve maximum performance characteristics of oil and gas reservoirs drilling. In this regard, there appears a necessity of analyzing the implementation and development of promising drilling technologies and completing wells, identifying current areas for increasing the efficiency of technolodgiesapplied for exploration and production wells construction. The article substantiates the recommended tasks and directions for improving well construction technologies and using modern equipment to increase their efficiency and reduce the construction period. The directions and technologies, their component tasks, issues of methodological, engineering and software implementation of which can be relevant topics in applied research and design work, final qualifying works of masters and post-graduate students are considered.
