Annotation:

The article considers in-pipe control of pipelines of well production collection systems freed up from the product as well as field and main pipelines using electromagnetic technologies (electromagnetic-acoustic and eddy current methods). These technologies provide information on pipeline defects using in-line detectors – crawlers. The article describes the advantages and disadvantages of this control method.
