Annotation:

The article is devoted to the review of the modern experience of using the method of primary cementing wells with reverse circulation through the annular space of the casing string in oil and gas wells on land and sea. The analysis of scientific and technical information regarding the use of this method of cementing, in particular, the relevance of application at sea in deep-water wells. The technological features in terms of the well design and recommendations for controlling the process shutdown during modern reverse cementing are considered.
