Annotation:

The article presents the main methods for determining the gradients of rock (geostatic), pore (reservoir) pressure, hydraulic fracturing and loss of drilling fluid when opening a permeable formation and after isolation work. It has been revealed that the method of geo-mechanical modeling of the geological section of a particular deposit in combination with the method of empirical coefficients is effective for solving the problem of choosing and substantiating the optimal well design. A method for selecting and substantiating the optimal design of the projected well is proposed based on geo-mechanical modeling with empirical coefficients that take into account the tectonic environment.
