Methodological approach to selecting the optimum design scheme of the Rusanovskoye field in the Kara Sea

Annotation:

The article proposes a method of choosing the optimal scheme for the development of an offshore multilayer field on the shelf of the Kara Sea. The Rusanovskoye field is composed by 10 layers. The analysis considers only production targets with the data averaged over the reservoirs of each target. Numerical methods were applied to estimate the net present value (NPV) during the development of the Rusanovskoye field for the following four options for development schemes. For example, all operational facilities are developed from one and the same platform; from two platforms, two objects each; two objects are developed from one platform and two other ones each with a separate subsea production complex (SPC); from one platform – one object and from three separate SPC – three objects, respectively. According to the results of the calculations using the proposed methodological approach, it is shown, that the largest NPV during the development of the Rusanovskoye field will occur for the field development scheme, which provides for the development of the selected object II from an offshore stationary platform, and the other three objects (I, III, IV) – from a subsea production complexes.
