Annotation:

During the construction of wells at the fields located within the Denisovskiy licensed area, complications are noted in the form of drags and landings during round-trip operations, failure to pass and sticking of the assembly of the drill string and casing stringbottoms. The elimination of complications is accompanied by a significant investment of time and money. The article discusses the features of wells drilling using traditional fresh acrylates-based non-dispersive solutions. The results of the studies on the comparative evaluation of the inhibitory properties of various types of solutions are presented. The experience of drilling using water-based drilling fluid systems of various degrees of mineralization with clay hydration inhibitors of the latest generation is considered. The results of studies conducted to comparatively assess inhibiting of solutions’ various types are presented. The experience of drilling using water-based drilling fluids of various degree of mineralization with hydration inhibitors of the last generation clays is considered. The field testing results of water-based drilling fluids showed that all the wells had problems associated with the loss of the wellbore stability. A complex of laboratory studies as well as a calculation of technical-economic efficiency made it possible to recommend invert-emulsion drilling fluids (IEDF) for pilot testing under the considered geological-technical drilling conditions. The use of IEDFallowed eliminating the most part of the complications associated with the loss of the well wallsstability. The presence of complications in some wells indicates that the replacement of fresh acrylic polymer clay solutions byIEDF does not solve the problem entirely and requires the development of an additional set of measures. A set of technological measures to minimize complications risks has been proposed and implemented. Wells construction time as compared withthe time of wells construction using the basic technology isreducedA positive economic effect has been obtained. Currently, the proposed set of measures is being actively replicated to other fields with similar mining and geological drilling conditions.
