Approbation of a new technology of rodless oil production

Annotation:

The article considers the results of a study of the main operational characteristics of a new low flow-rate oil production technology. The features of the stages of developing a prototype pumping unit, setting its characteristics as well as working conditions during pilot testing are considered in detail. The tests of the technology at the "Neftyanye Kamny" field of the Caspian Sea of the Republic of Azerbaijan, SOCAR, are described; the information on operating modes and related complicating factors is presented. The results of a series of tests of the developed prototype on one of the wells in the Volga region of the Russian Federation, complicated by a significant inclinometric curvature of the wellbore is also presented. The main characteristics of the power consumption by the installation are given. The considered experimental results confirm the operability of the new rodless oil production technology in various complicated operating conditions, and the energy indicators prove its high efficiency.
