Annotation:

Due to the worldwide increase of the share of hard-to-recover reserves development with abnormal thermo-baric modes and low porosity and porosity properties, it has become relevant to optimize the drilling process and reduce the impact on the productive formation during the initial opening, where the selection of a drilling fluid system becomes a particularly important aspect. The article describes the features of the clay-free drilling fluid system, its advantages over traditional oil-based drilling fluid systems, applications and laboratory studies. The international experience of application, the results achieved and the relevance of these systems for the oil and gas industry of Russia were studied as well.
