Annotation:
In the process of cementing wells, there is a technological operation of pushing the cement solution by drilling fluid in the pipe string – as a result, the cement solution is displaced by the drilling fluid. The theory and practice of this process indicate the fact that such displacement is accompanied by the formation of solutions mixing zone at the boundary between them. As a result of mixing cement and drilling fluids, the quality of the subsequently formed cement stone decreases, thus leading to poor-quality cementing of wells. For a multi-dimensional column with transitions, a cementing plug has been developed that contains an elastic body with a blind axial channel and cuffs. The body is made in the form of a cone and in such a way that each cuff seals a certain diameter in a multi-dimensional column. When the plug enters the very last (the smallest one) diameter, the internal cavity has a minimum volume (takes the shape of a cylinder), and the number of sealing cuffs is maximum.
