Annotation:
One of the reserved conditions of wells construction quality improvement is complications prevention and time and material costs reduction for their elimination. An extremely important task in recent decades is to ensure effective cleaning of wellbores, taking into account the significant growth of directional and horizontal drilling in recent decades. High-quality cleaning of the borehole from cuttings allows not only to improve the technical and economic indicators of drilling, but also to minimize the occurrence of such serious complications as drill strings stuck, drilling fluids absorption especially in rocks intervals prone to cavern formation. The authors of the article, based on theoretical concepts on the drilled rock removal from the borehole, a new approach to the influence of shear stresses on the removal and transport of cuttings from the boreholes of inclined and horizontal wells in case of viscous-plastic fluids laminar (structural) flow is proposed and substantiated.
