Annotation:

Most often, when drilling oil and gas wells in unstable clay rocks, complications occur in the form of slides and collapses of the well walls. To eliminate complications, many different types of liquid baths based on oil, acids, hydrophobic-adhesive and other variations are used. According to various laboratory studies, it is recommended to use a liquid bath based on heating oil and liquid glass. The purpose of this study is to increase the stability of the well walls in unstable clay deposits while simultaneously increasing the operational life-time of the bath, as well as eliminating gland formation.
