Stabilization of hard-to-recover oil reserves production at the experimental site of the Romashkinskoye field

Annotation:

At the latest stage of fields’ development, the extraction of hard-to-recover reserves becomes an increasingly urgent task. As part of the implementation of work to stabilize oil reserves production, clarifying studies on the mutual influence of wells were carried out by indicator fluids injection. Experimental studies were carried out by alternate stopping of injection wells in sections while monitoring performance indicators using telemechanics. Applied work regulations have been drawn up for geological and technological services, highlighting areas of mutual influence. Algorithms for identifying inter-well conductivity coefficients have been developed as well as a web tool "Identification of inter-well conductivity coefficients", which allows for operational control of site development. The quantitative effect on the site was the result of geological and technological measures and strengthening of the reservoir pressure maintenance system. Finally, 7244 ton of oil was produced. The increase of the production due to optimization of the system for maintaining reservoir pressure amounted to 5,726 tons of oil, due to the measures for development regulation automation – 1,801 tons of oil.
