Annotation:
The authors of the article discuss the main methods of flotation when running down casing strings, depending on the conditions that arise, and calculate the magnitude of the buoyancy force when running down the casing string in flotation mode. The relevance of flotation methods is substantiated by necessity of ensuring the possibility of unhindered running of casing strings for wells with extended reach. As a result of the analysis and calculations, conclusions were drawn about the feasibility of using casing strings running down using the flotation method.
