The development of the Yaregskaya area of the Yaregskoye field for more than fifty years has been accompanied by the use of various technologies for thermal mining of high-viscous oil. Today, the underground-surface method of thermal mine development is the key one, which allows steam pumping through vertical surface steam injection wells, while production is carried out through inclined blocks in underground workings by a system of production wells. However, despite the effectiveness of this development technology application, there are a number of specific features that prevent reserves uniform development. Within the framework of this work, the influence of acting gravitational forces during the development of an oil area with an underground-surface system was determined. The authors of the article present a mathematical model of the process of heating a high-viscous oil reservoir and assess the influence of the pressure of coolant injection into a steam injection well on the temperature distribution throughout the thickness of the reservoir. As a result of mathematical modeling, the average thickness temperatures in the near-wellbore zone of the formation of a steam injection well were determined over the time of steam injection. Working formulas are obtained that are expressed through elementary functions and are simple for practical use.
