Annotation:
The authors of the article devoted it to the problems of operating new and repaired oil and gas field equipment and structures. The results of an analysis of the reasons for their reliability decrease are presented. Some information is presented on the environmental parameters influence on reducing the time between failures of oil field pipelines and tanks due to the degradation of the physical and mechanical properties of the steels used in their construction. Statistical information on the time between failures of downhole electrically driven vane pumps has been assessed. It is revealed that with the existing system of organizing maintenance and repair of oilfield equipment, the reliability of installations of submersible electric centrifugal pumps does not depend on the duration of their operation.
