Some specific features of the cycling process application at a gas condensate field

Annotation:
The geology of the Cenomanian deposits at the coastal and offshore fields of the Ob Bay is favorable for organizing a large gas production complex. These deposits contain huge gas reserves and the correct arrangement of the group of fields allows expecting high flow rates. The authors of the article present possible options of a gas condensate field arrangement in the Ob Bay. The indicators of reservoir development of a gas condensate field using the cycling process and subsequent depletion are calculated. It is revealed that the use of the cycling process method with subsequent depletion is the most promising one. The project is considered according to various efficiency parameters. The economic indicators of a reservoir development of the considered gas condensate field using various methods is compared and the economic efficiency of cycling process application as a method of maintaining pressure for additional condensate extraction and preventing reservoir losses are proven. Calculations are carried out, the results of the presented methods are compared, and a conclusion is made on the necessity of using one of them.
