Annotation:
The use of thermal methods of impact on deposits with high-viscous oil (HVO) based on the injection of heat carriers, despite their effectiveness, still remain an expensive development method. Steam generation on the surface with its subsequent injection requires expensive technologies and large financial costs. Besides, a significant portion of the heat introduced into the reservoir is lost during movement in the injection pipe column, in the bottomhole zone, in the reservoir itself and the rocks surrounding it. According to this fact, the use of new or improvement of traditional methods applied for such deposits development is a relevant area for oil and gas producing companies. Active research on the combined use of nanoparticles (NP) is recently being conducted in company with thermal methods of impact. The authors of the article present a critical review of studies on the use of nanoparticles for improving the electromagnetic impact efficiency and reducing the cost of heavy oil production.
