Annotation:
The authors of the article consider the current problems of wastewater pollution by oil products arising from the operation of piston compressor stations and fuel filling stations (FFS). The necessity of such wastewater effective treatment to ensure environmental safety and water reuse in industrial processes is emphasized. A detailed design of an innovative separator is presented, enabling a high degree of oil products and water separation by using special design solutions that ensure minimal disruption of the oil layer structure and maximum contact time between the liquid and the separation elements. The rationale of the environmental and economic feasibility of using this device, emphasizing a significant reduction in the man-made impact on the environment and the possibility of reusing purified water as well as recycling separated petroleum products as secondary raw materials are given.
