Annotation:

The authors of the article present the experience and results of killing gas condensate wells of the Orenburg oil and gas condensate field being at the late stage of development during workover. The current mining-geological conditions of the deposits, characterized by a decrease of reservoir pressure, affecting the process of wells workover are described. The compositions of killing fluids currently used and the efficiency of their application are presented. It is also shown that modern reagents allow an effective approach to wells killing at the Orenburg oil and gas condensate field being at a late stage of development – to ensure reliable isolation of productive formations, reduce the time for wells killing and subsequent wells development, while maintaining the formations filtration properties, and, as a result, significantly save money during repair work.
