Annotation:
The introduction of digitalization technologies of technological processes, automation and robotic at the design stages, construction and operation of wells is of great importance for increasing the efficiency of construction, oil and gas recovery and optimal operation of wells. The current level of science and technology development allows creating highly automated drilling rigs and in future achieving their complete autonomics. Such systems will independently make decisions not only on drilling modes, changing the design of the drill string bottom assembly, but will also be able to promptly adjust a well drilling trajectory, depending on the actual geological and technical indicators. The introduction of artificial intelligence elements into the software will provide optimizing production processes and minimizing the risks of accidents and complications, reducing costs and increasing economic efficiency. Automated drilling rigs are being developed abroad and in Russia, the most successful of them are produced and actively used in the construction and development of complex wells.
